Vacation. Olala!!!

I came back from Singapore on Monday but was too lazy to blog. Yes , i'm a sloth when it comes to blogging and i better get used to this blogging thing . I bet this is going to be a very very very long blog entry. Ok , so I went with my family(my auntie, uncle and cousin from Singapore , Kluang auntie and mum ) on a four days and three nights cruise. On the 7th of December , we went to Singapore and stayed two nights at my aunt's place. On the 9th of December(Tuesday) , around noon , we went to Harbour Front to board the ship . Before that , we strolled around the place and had lunch. Then at 3 p.m we queued up to waited for our turn to register . Boy , it sure was a very long queue! My cousin and i whiled the time away by chatting , singing and wacking around(drawing unwanted attention to ourselves). At 4 plus , we finally board the The Royal Caribbean Legend of The Seas .(Fyi , The Royal Caribbean is a shipping company owned by Americans) The ship was enormous . Like really ENORMOUS , giving it a somewhat majestic and magnificent feel. Upon entering the ship , we have to give the attendants our sea pass card to scan so that they can keep track on who's on board. Cool , right? So , after we checked into our cabins which is on deck 6. my cousin and i shared a cabin. The cabin , though small was cosy. It has a picturesque view of the sea. Oh yeah , i loved the toilet bowl cos' it produces a loud suction sound whenever it is flushed. Sometimes i pressed it a few times for the fun of it. Addiction. LOl. After unpacking our luggage , we explored the whole ship. There's a casino , fitness center, spa , library , bar , hair and beauty salon , arcade , swimming pool , golf course and etc. The crew comprises of people from 64 different nationalities. They were super friendly and polite. Around 6.30 p.m , we went for an all you can eat buffet at The Windjammers Cafe at Deck 9. So i eat all i can , gorged and stuffed myself with food and ended up looking 2 months pregnant. We did some more exploring and went for dinner ( eat again?) at 8.30 p.m at the Romeo and Juliet dining room on deck 5. Our waiters were Norholis from Indonesia and Guang Jun from China. They can speak English fairly well and gosh , they are SUPER CUTE!!! Adorable. I can imagine Japanese girls screaming Kawaii!! drool. lol. Excellent service and good food recommendation. We had starters , main course and dessert. By the time , we came to the dessert , my stomach felt like it was on the verge of explosion. Superb food. Especially loved the es cargoes. (adding on 5 months more to my tummy)Winks ;) At 11.10 , we went down a deck to catch a musical at the That's Entertainment Theater. The musical was entitled ," The Swing". The show was marvelous. Outstanding vocals , great music , perfect synchronization and choreography. Then , we retreated to our cabins. Shuen( my cuz) and i couldn't sleep. We were too hyped up! So we made a wacky video with all our crazy antics. At 2 something in the morn , we decided to go to bed but we still couldn't get our peepers to shut! As we lay on our beds , we could feel our beds rocking and vibrating. Cool. Even the toilet seat vibrates when u sit on it. Makes pooping uncomfortable , ain't it? Ooops!

Next day( 10th December , Wednesday)

Woke up at 7.30 a.m. Looked ravishing with a pair of puffy panda eyes (according to Shuen) matched with pale-looking skin. Zombie beauty. Went down for breakfast at 8 and experienced the joy of stuffing myself again. Shuen and me left the cafe earlier than the elders because they still want to eat their money's worth. At least , we knew our limits. We gathered at Deck 4 at 10+ a.m to board the coach to KL( the ship anchored at Port Klang). Reached Sungei Wang about 11.30 a.m . We were free to roam but we have to assembled again at Sungei Wang by 3.45 p.m. My family and i took a monorail to Times Square. Ps:Malaysia's monorail system is still so outdated. Sorry. No offense intended ( Images of the ISA looming in my mind. terrors). We did some shopping and then my uncle decided to bring my cousin and i to the theme park. My mum's and aunties' faces blackened. Apparently , we wasted a lot of their precious shopping time. Later , i've got a good shelling from my mum. Sheesh. Then , we rushed to Sungei Wang and Lot 10 , racing against time. Shopped again but ended up buying nothing but 3 pieces of underwear. Haha. Got back inside the coach by 3.50 p.m. So exhausted that i snoozed during the entire journey back. Reached Port Klang by 4. 50 p.m. Have to go through a security check. The officers were so lenient. Talking on the phone during duty and letting some people off without checking them(i was one of them. hehe.) . On our way back to the ship we have to go through another security check conducted by the cruise officials. Guess the Americans were dubious of our Malaysia's security system. No comments on that one. That night was a formal night so everybody have to dress formally , of course. I was dressed in a beautiful white gown with my hair in an elegant bun. For a tomboy , i felt kinda awkward. My cousin was dressed in a navy green skirt , a white blouse and black vest. She looked so adorable!! We pranced around , posed and acted all posh. Both of us just couldn't get enough of the word posh. Lining each sentence we uttered with the word "posh". Posh! Posh! Posh! Lol. During dinner , we were treated like VIPs. Sat at the same table with the same waiters (Beaming XD). The dishes were also more posh and extraordinary than usual. After dinner we went window-shopping and went to the theater to watch an acrobatic act at 10.45 p.m. Unfortunately , one of the trapeze got injured. So we went to the Schooner Bar or piano bar instead. We ordered a couple of beers and listened to this dude sing and play the grand piano. Nice voice , i have to say.
I think his name's Alsemo Boles. He's from Florida. A really funny and friendly guy. After that , we went to the highest deck , which is the 11th deck , to catch some breeze. Really windy and chilly outside. Then we went to the disco but were chased out shortly cos' my cousin's underage. Went back to our room and did another zany video. Shorter than the night before though.

11th December , Thursday

Woke up feeling grouchy. After breakfast , we went for rock climbing. It was fun but challenging. Slipped off a few times. went golfing with my uncle and cousin. I whacked the ball but it flew elsewhere. Pathetic. Then off i went to the gym to burn those calories i've accumulated from all the food. After my work-out , i went back to my cabin to bathe and nap whilst my ever energetic cousin went for another round of rock climbing. Later that evening , all of us went to catch the last show. It was spectacular. Definitely the best of all the shows we have watched during the cruise. Even dinner was better than usual since it was our last night on board. The chefs , waiters and staff even went all the way to perform for us. Didin't do much that night. Felt a lil' emo and hit the sack quite early as we have to check out by 8.10 a.m the next day.

12th December

Reached Harbour Front. At last!! Supposed to go home that day but ended up staying til' Monday.

So that's about my vacation. Phew! I'm dead beat typing all these.
